About

The Luxury Sustainable Hotels International Association (LUSH) is the umbrella body for sustainable luxury hospitality. Its membership is made up of hotels and industry related entities with a proven interest towards sustainability.

 

The LUSH aims to elevate the capabilities of the international hotel industry to achieve sustainable development with a specific focus on localizing the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The Luxury Sustainable Hotels International Association (LUSH)  team has led numerous successful campaigns, events and trainings that have brought about real change.

LUSH Certification is a worldwide sustainability system based on internationally accepted criteria for sustainable hotel operation and management of travel and tourism companies. It operates under a worldwide license, LUSH is based in Playa Del Carmen, Mexican Caribbean, and is represented in over 26 countries.

 

The activities of the LUSH association revolve around the following main themes:
